  To Send Files for Production

For the best results please bear in mind the following when sending files for production:

  1. We can print directly from .pdf and .jpg files (.pdf is preferred). Other formats we support include: .ai, .eps & .psd.
  2. Your image should be of sufficient resolution to print at 300 dpi (see # 3, below) at final output size. (Depending on the viewing distance 150 dpi may be acceptable.) Images downloaded from the web are typically too low-resolution to produce satisfactory results when enlarged.
  3. What's "dpi"? Dots Per Inch. Digital images are made up of tiny dots of ink. Like pixels on a digital photo, the higher the dpi the better the image quality.
  4. When sending large files you may want to use a file transfer site such as TransferBigFiles.com. Please be sure to call or email us to let us know it's coming.
  5. Please contact Matt with any other questions you may have about sending files for production.
  6. Note: Be sure to proofread your artwork carefully prior to sending it for production. Insignia is not responsible for "redos" resulting from errors in original files.
