For the best results please bear in mind the following when sending files for production:
- We can print directly from .pdf and .jpg files (.pdf is preferred). Other formats we support include: .ai, .eps & .psd.
- Your image should be of sufficient resolution to print at 300 dpi (see # 3, below) at final output size. (Depending on the viewing distance 150 dpi may be acceptable.) Images downloaded from the web are typically too low-resolution to produce satisfactory results when enlarged.
- What's "dpi"? Dots Per Inch. Digital images are made up of tiny dots of ink. Like pixels on a digital photo, the higher the dpi the better the image quality.
- When sending large files you may want to use a file transfer site such as TransferBigFiles.com. Please be sure to call or email us to let us know it's coming.
- Please contact Matt with any other questions you may have about sending files for production.
- Note: Be sure to proofread your artwork carefully prior to sending it for production. Insignia is not responsible for "redos" resulting from errors in original files.
